I’ve been developing screenplays and providing script coverage/notes to studios, production companies, and independent authors for over fifteen years. I know what makes a story work and what is standing in the way between a PASS and a CONSIDER (or better yet, a RECOMMEND). This comprehensive written analysis is designed to give you an honest, detailed assessment of your project's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the tools and guidance to improve both your writing and your commercial prospects. Your script will be evaluated in each of the following categories:

Rates:

One-hour pilot script (up to 65 pages): $250

Feature script (up to 125 pages): $500

Developmental Edit: $.05 per word
A developmental edit looks at the big picture of your novel—how the story works as a whole—before polishing sentences. I’ll evaluate your plot, pacing, structure, and character arcs; ensure your worldbuilding is consistent and immersive; and check that your themes, tone, and POV all serve the story. I’ll also look at scene flow, conflict, and reader engagement from first page to last. You’ll receive an in-depth editorial letter (7-10 pages) with a clear action plan to guide your revisions, along with an annotated manuscript with specific in-line notes.
 

Manuscript Critique: $0.02 per word
A manuscript critique is a big-picture evaluation of your novel without the deep, chapter-by-chapter in-line notes of a full developmental edit. I’ll read your entire manuscript and provide a detailed editorial letter (3-5 pages) assessing the strengths and weaknesses of your plot, pacing, character arcs, structure, worldbuilding, and reader engagement. You’ll receive concrete, actionable suggestions for revision so you can address the most impactful changes first. This service is ideal if you’re looking for professional feedback before diving into major rewrites—or if you want to know how close your story is to being submission-ready.
